TerraPi is situated along the Southern Border of the Baviaanskloof wilderness complex 25km north east of Kareedouw, stretching from the Kouga Forest Reserve in the east to the Kouga River in the west. It encompasses 11 previously separate farms, now joined into one, forming the biggest privately owned border wilderness farm in the Kouga. Known as Rietfontein on the 3324CD Kareedouw 1–50 000 map it includes the following farms: Witteklip, Die Poort, Agterberg, Boy’s Kraal, Verkeerdedraafontein, Trek Kloof, Baviaansrivier, Paarden Berg and Graslaagte. These patches of farmland join together to form the RTR (Red Tiger Ranch).

TerraPi lies along the southern foothills of the Baviaanskloof Wilderness Area, close to the artery that supplies the garden Route, the N2. It is a fourty five minute drive along the R62 between Humansdorp and Kareedouw along the alternative route to Cape Town known as the Langkloof fruit route.

Driving Directions
From Port Elizabeth
Follow the N2 from Port Elizabeth past Humansdorp towards Cape Town. Aprox 17km past Humansdorp turn right towards Kareedouw along the R62(alternative route to CPT). Travel along the R62 towards Kareedouw for about 10km until you reach an abandoned Charcoal Factory called Two Streams on your left and turn right onto the gravel road marked Onverwagslaagte directly opposite. Continue along this road, meandering through pioneer farmland for about 24km until you see a sign pointing you towards the biggest mountain in the region. Follow the signs from there. We are at the end of the road, so to speak. If you are moving away from the mountains again, you have gone too far.
From Cape Town
Follow the N2 to Port Elizabeth. As you pass the Tsitsikamma look out for the turnoff to your left indicating Kareedouw. On entering Kareedouw, turn right at the T-junction and proceed through the town. There is one stop in the town and the friendly grocer on your left as you stop is a good place to get last minute supplies. Have empathy on us. This is where we shop and it is our closest town. Continue straight through and head towards Humansdorp along the R62 for 15km until reaching a sign on the left hand side of the road reading, Suuranys - Boplaas. Turn left onto the gravel road and continue for 6km. Turn right at the sign indicating Riverside and head straight along this road for 15km until reaching the TerraPi sign that wil direct you over the hill and into the mountains. If you reatch a farm called onverwagslaagte, you have gone too far. We are really at the end of the road.
Airport
The nearest airport is at Port Elizabeth a two hour drive from TerraPi.
