It is important to view availability well before planning a visit, as not to be disappointed. A slow but sustainable growth of our camp will ensure that we expand into a healthy interactive and functional retreat styled breakaway for the wilderness enthusiast.
It is important to have a look around the site to familiarise yourself with the events taking place at TerraPi. Planning a weekend breakaway - camping in a comfortable tipi tent has become sought after, since people have started realising the truths in the native approach to living on our land.
Please enquire before booking. Our camp has recieved much publicity for its ingenious approach to environmental tourism and due to the exclusive nature of our small but comfortable setup, we urge you to call well before planning a trip to visit us.

BOOKING CONDITIONS
1. Booking procedure: When you make a booking, you will need to complete and sign a booking form on behalf of yourself and your party, accepting these booking conditions. Payment of a 50% non refundable deposit will confirm your booking. All persons named on the booking form will be referred to as ‘the client’. If the booking is made by an agent, all communications from TerraPi (the sole trader) will be addressed to that agent who will be acting as an agent for the client. No contract shall exist until the booking form is completed and signed or until the deposit is received.
2. Payment: The full amount due must be paid no later than 10 working days prior to trip departure otherwise the trip may be regarded as cancelled by TerraPi, unless by prior arrangement. Other applications may join, space permitting – the full fare is payable immediately. For bookings within 10 days, the full fare is payable immediately.
3. Cancellations by client: Cancellations must be in writing (fax and e-mail acceptable) by the persons signing the booking form and are not effective until confirmed as received by TerraPi. If the cancellation is received more than 10 working days prior to departure, the deposit will be forfeited. If the cancellation is received within 10 working days of departure, a further charge of 50% of the full tour fare will apply. Only TerraPi may cancel or postpone events within the visit itinerary due to bad weather.
4. Cancellations by TerraPi: TerraPi reserves the right to, in any circumstances, cancel adventure trips. All trips will be subject to a minimum number of clients. In instances where TerraPi cannot run proposed adventure itineraries supplementing the TerraPi experience, monies paid by the client for such additions will be refunded and this will constitute the full extent of the company’s liability. The Client must realise that additional adventure excursions are not normally run commercial operations but unique extensions of their wilderness experience complimenting accommodation within the TerraPi wilderness presentation. All efforts will be made to satisfy adventure expectations based on flexible itineraries within the TerraPi Experience and in the event of cancellations, suitable alternative adventures will be presented or parts thereof will be monetarily refunded.
5. Alterations to Itineraries: TerraPi reserves the right to alter itinerary, accommodation, craft, guides etc., according to changing conditions. Where possible, clients will be notified of any changes before departure. TerraPi will not be liable to compensate the client if itinerary changes are forced due to force majeure, namely, war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorism, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather or other external circumstances. In the unlikely event of a vehicle breakdown that is beyond the company’s control, we will arrange for repairs to be undertaken as quickly as possible. We will not be responsible for any accommodation other than camping and will not be responsible for airfares or any repatriation cost whatever.
6. Authority on tour: The decision of the guide employed by TerraPi will be final in all matters relating to safety. The company shall not be responsible for any unlawful or illegal act committed by any client. If the company or guide considers a client to be unsuitable for the trip, the company may cancel such client’s booking or decline to carry the client further, without any refund or compensation being due.
7. Alterations to booking conditions: May only be made in writing and by signature of the director of the company.
8. Health: The client acknowledges being aware of the proposed itinerary and the demands of the trip selected and confirms that s/he is in good health and able to embark on the tour.
9. Baggage: Baggage and contents is at all the times at the client’s risk, the company cannot accept liability for any loss or damage.
10. Travel documentation: It is the responsibility of the client to be in possession of a valid passport and any necessary visas, vaccinations certificates etc. Regulations change often and it is the clients responsibility to make themselves aware of up to date regulations.
11. Insurance: It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that they are adequately insured for all eventualities for the course of the trip. If a client is injured or ill, all evacuation, medical and repatriation costs are the client’s responsibility. The company shall not be liable for any refund of the tour fare.
12. Information: All information given to the client is done so in good faith and based on latest information available. The company reserves the right to change itineraries, vehicles and prices if deemed necessary.
13. Photographic material: Photographic material taken on tour is the property of the company and may be used for promotional purposes without further permission being sought from the client.
14. Severability: If any part of this contract is held to be illegal or unenforceable, it shall not affect the validity of the rest of the contract.
15. Indemnity: The Client will be required to sign an awareness indemnity form upon arrival in order to orientate him/herself of potential dangers relevant to occupying a wilderness area.

Indemnity/waiver: By signing, I acknowledge that I have read and understood the terms and conditions of TerraPi. I have informed myself of the nature of the excursion and am aware that I will be exposed to risks that I am not normally exposed to. I voluntarily assume the risks of taking part in excursions and I and my heirs, executors, administrators or assigns hereby jointly and severally irrevocably indemnify, hold harmless and expressly exempt TerraPi, its organizers, staff and agents from any liability due to damage, loss, injury or death suffered by or to myself howsoever arising, and whether sustained directly or indirectly or in consequence of any act of omission or commission.
