Overlooking the Tipi camp - towers sheer vertical rock faces providing great opportunities to climb top rope and abseil. An existing grade 20 climb with overhangs and great grips and cracks to navigate, present fun climbs while friends cheer you on from around the braai fire. A 40m abseil past an eagles nest and cave along the same cliff is great fun and all equipment provided for your enjoyment by qualified CTSM accredited Single pitch Abseil supervisor.

Abseiling and Top-rope climbing
Sheer vertical sandstone cliffs tower over the Tipis, providing guests with the opportunity to climb and abseil while friends cheer you on from the comforts of the campsite. All ages and shapes are welcome to pit their skill against the rock as you climb from the banks of the river under professional supervision from your CTSM accredited belay supervisor.
Beginners climb half way before they get tired and you get three attempts to get past the overhang. More experienced climbers end up spending quite some time playing and climbing on the ideal rock faces this amphitheatre presents.
It is a wonderful activity for kids, youngsters and climbers while friends gather around the potjie fires or around the braai. All safety equipment provided including climbing tuition.
